How to get Layered Weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds
The first task is to craft a Layered Weapon, which can be done with any standard weapon that you made. However, it will take some time and resources, since your weapon will need to be at the highest rarity. The highest rarity will vary with your weapon, but it's safe to assume that you should already have something eligible if you're in the endgame.

If you have an Artian Weapon, you can use that as a Layered Weapon. In case of an Artian Weapon, you'll have to refine it all the way up to its highest level before you can turn it into a Layered Weapon. Of course, you will need to make sure to update your game to the latest version to access Title Update 2.
How to use Layered Weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds
To turn an eligible weapon into a layered weapon, you'll need to follow these steps.
- Go to the tent
- Go to the Appearance Tab.
- Select Change Equipment Appearance.
- Select your equipped weapons, and it will open the Layered Weapons options (if your weapon meets the requirements).
Once confirmed, your weapons will have a different appearance. Do note that the changes are purely cosmetic.
