How to download Disney+ on your TV

Disney+ has finally arrived in the UK, meaning viewers have a whole range of beloved films and TV series at their fingertips.

The new streaming service from the media behemoth boats an impressive catalogue of options and access to all of their iconic entertainment brands, including Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and a whole host of nostalgic Disney films for older viewers.

Not only that, but original content is also in abundance and there are a number of feature-length films, TV series and documentaries created exclusively for the service.

But just how can you access the library of shows on Disney+ on your TV? Here's all you need to know.

How to download Disney+ on your TV

Viewers can finally stream Disney+ directly from their TV now it's available in the UK.

You can subscribe to the service by visiting DisneyPlus.com/uk, where you can begin a seven-day free trial.

Once you're there, getting Disney+ on your TV couldn't be easier.

Make sure you have first signed up to Disney+, and that your smart TV is connected to the internet.

Then you will need to download the app on your TV, which will available via the in-built app or content store.

Once you've reached the app store, type Disney+ into the search box.

Select the Disney+ app or icon that pops up, and then hit install. This will download and install the app to your television.

Once it's downloaded, you should be able to find it on your home screen. Click it and start watching.

How to download Disney+ without a smart TV

Start a free trial and cancel at any time (Disney)

Don't worry if you haven't got a smart TV, you can still watch Disney+ without one.

All you will need is a Smart TV stick such as an Amazon Firestick of one from the likes of Roku, which plugs into the back of your television and connects it to the internet.

The stick will come with an app store so you can download streaming services such as Disney+ with ease.

Create an account like usual, download the app through the stick and off you go.
