The Griddy has always remained a favorite celebration for the FC 26 community (for many reasons), and contrary to popular beliefs, you can perform it inside the game.
Of course, Ultimate Team players who played FC 25 might have done what is needed to complete an objective that allows you to unlock the Griddy. If you check the complete list of celebrations, you won't find a mention of it. However, there's a way (albeit limited) to bring out your toxicity with the celebration in FC 26.
How to perform the Griddy in FC 26
The exact method of performing the Griddy varies slightly based on the mode. If you have played FC 25, you might have come across the Griddy to Glory objective in Ultimate Team. It was released in August, and you had to complete the whole objective, which spanned six days.
If you have completed the objective, you'll gain the item soon (expected around Oct. 14). Once you receive it, you can equip it from Stadium in Ultimate Team. Press the X/A button with a footballer to perform it as the signature celebration. This is only possible with footballers who don't have their own signatures.
If you don't want to wait, or maybe you never played FC 25, don't fret. There's still a way for you to do the Griddy, and it's not restricted to Ultimate Team. If you're playing in Kickoff, pick Newcastle United. Bring Anthony Elanga into the starting squad and proceed to score a goal with him. Then press the X/A button, and watch the magic happen.
This is possible as Elanga has the Griddy as his signature celebration. This is the only reason he could be the only footballer in the entire game to perform the Griddy. Whether EA Sports assigns the celebration to another footballer is a matter for the future.
For now, pick Newcastle United and score with Anthony Elanga to perform the Griddy. Incidentally, the old controls of this celebration now trigger Cristiano Ronaldo's signature Nap.
