This is the case for the craft cloth mission, which sounds easy enough, but is actually rather deceptive.
There's no item called cloth that can be found around the valley, so figuring out what you need for this duty can be tricky. If this one has you stumped, here's how to craft cloth in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

What is cloth in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
In DDV, there's no actual item called cloth, so any references to it actually refer to Fabric. Fabric is a craftable item that can be found under the Refined Material category at any crafting station. It's also sometimes available for purchase from Kristoff's Stall.
Craft cloth in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the craft cloth duty for the Winter Warmth Star Path event, you need to craft a total of five Fabric. Crafting one of these items costs five Cotton, so the first step in this process is planting, growing, and harvesting this crop for use.
You can buy Cotton Seeds from Goofy's Stall in the Sunlit Plateau biome, where they cost 42 Star Coins. Each Cotton Seed you plant only yields one Cotton, so to complete the Star Path duty, you'll need to obtain at least 25 Cotton first.
Once you have the Cotton you need, head to any crafting station around the valley. Switch over to the Refined Material category and select Fabric to begin crafting. You must make this item yourself to progress this duty, so purchasing some from Kristoff if he has any available won't help you get it done.
The craft cloth mission is a routine duty rather than a regular one, so the rewards you get for finishing this quest are a lot better than usual. It's a very easy task to complete once you know what it requires, and you get a whopping 50 Tokens to spend in the event for getting it done.
If you're still after some additional Tokens to spend on additional prizes, there are plenty of other duties worth tackling next. Some good ones to tackle are planting vegetables that make great coaches, digging for special crystals underground, selling snowman building material, and harvesting some red bush berries.
