Season Breakthrough added a new area to The First Descendant, filled with different missions and objectives. From regular missions against a new Vulgus legion to time trials, walking Colossi, and the new Void Axium Drop mission.
One of the new fun additions to The First Descendant is the hoverbike, and if you want to make the most out of yours, you need to farm Void Axium Drop missions, so here’s everything you need to know about them and how to complete them.
How to complete Void Axium Drop in The First Descendant

Void Axium Drop is a random event in the Axion Plains field. Two meteors fall from the sky and land in different places on the map. You then have around seven minutes to get to the meteors and defeat any Vulgus that try to claim them for themselves.
Kill the enemies and the commander at the end to interact with the Void Axium Drop. These missions don’t take long, and with a well-built character (which you should bring to Axion anyway), it’ll take one or two minutes.
The Void Axium Drops guarantees the following rewards:
- Specially Treated Alloy x36
- Insulating Nut x18
- Alloy Bearing x6
- High Conductivity Wire x6
However, the faster the completion time, the more rewards you can get, up to double the base amount. The rewards can also increase based on the Dimensional Breach Stabilization Reading status in Axion Plains. You and other players can collectively stabilize the area by completing objectives on the map and intercepting the Wall Crasher Colossus.
Materials from Void Axium Drops also have a chance to drop from other missions in Axion Plains, so combine farming when possible if you’re working towards unlocking other vehicles, Ultimate weapons, or Nell.
Materials from Void Axium Drop missions are required to upgrade vehicles in The First Descendant. You can get three bikes: GLIDE-4, Orca, and Vortex. Using the materials, you can enhance them to level 10, and every two levels, the bike gets an additional option that you can reroll, similarly to weapons.
