How to complete the Woeful Wednesday challenge in BitLife
This perfectly Halloween-y BitLife challenge has five requirements, and by completing all five, you will win a mystery cosmetic prize for your next character to wear. Here is what you need to do to complete this challenge:
- Be born a female in New Jersey
- Become a Mortician
- Reach 100% in the cello skill
- Own a Haunted Victoria house
- Scare someone to death
Be born a female in New Jersey
If you are unfamiliar with the U.S.A. states and cities, you may not know which city to choose for your BitLife character to be born in. The Woeful Wednesday challenge asks you to start your character’s life as a female born in New Jersey, so you will need to choose Newark as the city during character creation, as it is the capital city of New Jersey.
Your stats won’t matter too much, except for smarts. Increase her smarts stats to help her as she studies in school and get her a place at university. If you can choose a special talent, then choose music. This will help you increase your cello skill quickly.
Become a Mortician
Your character’s career must be that of a mortician for this challenge, but fortunately, a specialised university degree is not required. You do, however, have to be smart and hardworking, so make sure you study hard during school and university to get good grades. Don’t forget to start cello lessons while at school.
You can choose any university degree, but if you want a level of authenticity, then choose Biology or something scientific. If your parents can pay for the school fees, that will save you money in the long run, which is great for saving up for a house.
After completing university, check the job listings for ‘Mortician’, and apply. If it isn’t there or you don’t pass the interview, quit the game and restart. Work hard at your job every year and take on any overtime offered, so you can afford to pay for your new house and cello lessons.
Gain 100% in the cello skill
When you are young and at school, you can ask your parents if you can learn the cello. These are expensive lessons at $3,000 a lesson, so it would help if your family isn’t poor. Visit Activities> Mind & Body > Instruments > Cello to begin.
Take a lesson every year to eventually gain 100% in the cello skill. When you have left home, you will have to pay for these lessons yourself, so you may want to get a part-time job on top of your Mortician career.
Own a Haunted Victorian house
The Haunted Victorian houses cost between $300,000 and $400,000 if you are looking to buy them with cash. Save as much money as possible as you work. This is easiest when you have no student loans to pay.
It is also possible to apply for a mortgage, but the bank can be tricky with a mortician’s wage. You may have to wait until you get a pay rise or an inheritance from your parents. Visit Activities > Shopping > any real estate brokers to find the correct listing. If it doesn’t appear, either restart the game or age up until it does.
Scare someone to death
You can scare someone to death in BitLife by committing murder. Go to Activities > Crime > Murder and choose Scare to Death from the drop-down list. Choose an unsuspecting victim, unknown to your character, such as a hobo or bartender. This makes it less likely you will be found out and arrested.
Your victim may fight back and escape, but if this happens, you can restart the game or age up and try again.
