How to complete the Special Dish mission in Palworld 1.0

The Special Dish quest is one of the earliest sub missions in Palworld 1.0, making it an easy source of EXP, Gold, and a useful food buff in the early game. You simply need to deliver the Farmer’s Special Dish to a PIDF officer in the Small Settlement before returning to the quest giver.

Step-by-step guide on completing A Special Dish quest in Palworld 1.0

The “A Special Dish” sub mission begins with the Worrywart Farmer near the gate at Grassy Behemoth Hills, close to the starting point. Here’s how to complete it:

  • Speak to the Worrywart Farmer at the gate near Grassy Behemoth Hills to accept the quest. She’ll ask you to deliver her special dish to a reliable-looking PIDF officer.
  • Head toward the Small Settlement. Instead of taking the main road, follow the shoreline on the left side of the gate. This route lets you collect Paldium Fragments and loot several Chests along the way.
  • As you approach the Small Settlement marker, you’ll encounter a wind gust . Use it to launch yourself onto the Golden Hills, giving you a faster route to the settlement entrance.
  • At the entrance to the Small Settlement, look for a guard standing on a makeshift watchtower. This NPC is the Reliable PIDF Officer you’re looking for.

  • Talk to the Reliable PIDF Officer and hand over the Farmer’s Special Dish to complete the delivery objective.
  • Activate the Small Settlement Eagle Statue to unlock a fast travel point, allowing you to return to the Farmer much more quickly. You can also speak with the Chief while you’re in town if you’re planning to continue the Main Mission.
  • Fast travel back to Grassy Behemoth Hills and speak to the Worrywart Farmer to complete the mission and receive your rewards.

  • 2,500 Gold Coins
  • 5x Mozzarina Cheeseburger

Consuming the Mozzarina Cheeseburger increases Attack by 20 percent while keeping the consumer full for a longer period. It’s an excellent food buff for your Pals during lengthy battles since it helps prevent them from suffering the Hunger debuff, which lowers their combat effectiveness.

The quest is also a quick source of EXP and Gold Coins, so you’ll definitely want to do this in the early game.
