How to complete Fishing for Adventure duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the Fishing for Adventure duty in the Treasure Hunt event, you need to fish up a total of four clues from special fishing spots, follow the clue to the right spot, break the blocker mentioned in the clue, recover four Memory Shards, and dig at the location featured in the completed memory. This task is a fairly lengthy process that takes four days to get done, so it can be a bit tricky to navigate through. Here’s a full breakdown of how to get it done.
- Find the daily Treasure Hunt event fishing spot. Start by scouring the water around the valley to pinpoint the location of the special fishing ripple spot. This fishing spot can pop up in any biome around the main valley, so check the water around all eight regions to search for it. You’re looking for a red and gold bubbling ripple spot.
- Fish up a Treasure Trove Clue. Toss your Royal Fishing Rod line into the special event fishing spot to catch a clue. Then, open your inventory to read it.
- Solve the Treasure Hunt event riddle and head to the specified biome. Figure out where the clue is telling you to go and make your way to the chosen biome. It’s random for everyone, so it can be any of the eight biomes in the valley.
- Locate the blocker mentioned in the clue. Once you’re in the right area, start searching for the biome blocker mentioned in the riddle. Each region has its own unique blockers, like the coral in the Dazzle Beach region or the bones in the Sunlit Plateau.
- Break all versions of the blocker to find the hidden chest. Equip the right tool for the job (either your Royal Pickaxe or Royal Shovel, depending on which blocker you’re dealing with), then get to work breaking all versions of the blocker you come across until one of them drops a green chest.
- Open the chest to claim a Memory Shard. Clearing away the blocker mentioned in the riddle will reveal a special event Memory Shard. Pick it up to get a piece of a treasure map.
- Repeat this process for a total of four days. You need to collect a total of four Memory Shards by following the fishing clues around the valley in this event. One fishing spot spawns per day, so you have to be a bit patient with this one and visit the valley across the course of a few days to get it done. Once you have all four, the location of your final reward will be revealed.

Fishing for Adventure reward in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Completing the Fishing for Adventure duty gets you two exclusive prizes in the Treasure Hunt event. The first is a Mickey Pirate Motif, which is granted as soon as you collect all four Memory Shards for this task. The second is the Pirate Throne item, which you can obtain by digging at the treasure location revealed by the completed memory.
There’s plenty more to get done in this event after checking off this tricky task. Next, you might work on completing Expert Treasure Hunter and finding gold cracks as they pop up around the village.
