Ultron is the latest addition to Marvel Rivals after Emma Frost, bringing new content to explore, skins to unlock, and achievements to earn. One of these new achievements is titled “Days of the Future Past”, a callback to the 1981 X-Men comic arc.
Unlike most Marvel Rivals achievements, which are fairly straightforward and objective-based, this one has no clear description for its unlock requirements. I’ve got you covered, though, and here is how you can earn the Days of the Future Past achievement.
Unlock the Days of the Future Past achievement in Marvel Rivals
To unlock the Days of the Future Past achievement in Marvel Rivals, you need to “erase Ultron’s existence from the timeline in Arakko,” which doesn’t mean much on its own, but it’s a neat narrative event you can trigger while earning the achievement.

Here are the steps you need to follow:
- First, initiate a quick or competitive match, and you must end up on the Arakko map. This is a requirement, and you need some luck and a few tries to ensure that the first condition is met.

- Once you’re in Arakko, you need to play on the defending side. Again, this is completely RNG-based, and you’ll have to pray to the NetEase gods of luck for this to happen.
- After you’re in Arakko and are on the defending side, you need to win the match as well.
Once you win the match, you’ll be greeted with a cutscene (I won’t spoil it for you) and unlock the achievement. This one is part of the chronoverse saga, which is the last row in the achievements tab.
To sum it up, you need to fulfil the following conditions to unlock the Days of the Future Past achievement, two of which are completely luck-dependent:
- The map is Arakko.
- You are on the defending side.
- You win the match.
At the very start of season 2.5, the Arakko map was selectable as an additional quick match option, but it’s no longer available and is now part of the regular map rotation.
This isn’t the most difficult achievement to unlock in Marvel Rivals, but it can take a while until you meet the first two conditions, which are a bit more random now.
