Challenges are at the center of Battlefield 6‘s progression system. They award XP, unlock cosmetics, and new weapons in each category. If you’re an LMG enjoyer, the first challenges you should tackle are from the Bullet Storm assignment.
Bullet Storm is a weapon assignment for LMGs. It unlocks at Rank 23 and features two stages with two challenges each. Completing each stage unlocks the KTS100 MK8 and M240L machine guns, respectively.
Here’s how to complete Bullet Storm challenges in Battlefield 6.
All Bullet Storm challenges and how to complete them in Battlefield 6

First stage
The first stage features some of the most annoying challenges in the game. If you suffer through them, you get the KTS100 MK8 light machine gun.
Here are the challenges:
- Suppress 300 enemies with LMGs.
- Inflict 10,000 hip-fire damage with LMGs.

Suppressing fire happens when you shoot in the enemy’s direction from 30m or farther away but don’t hit them. After firing around five to 10 rounds, you’ll see the Enemy Suppression tag in the bottom left of your screen, awarding points. You can also get Squad Suppression Assist and other assists for more points when suppressing enemies.
To complete the second challenge, you need to hip-fire using LMGs. Make sure to equip lasers and flashlights where available to improve the weapon’s hip-fire accuracy. The easiest way to complete these challenges is against bots on the Portal servers. You can try joining one in the server browser, if you’re lucky to avoid the Global Game Quota Exceeded error.
Second stage

The second stage is way more straightforward and allows you to play however you want. The only restriction is using one of the designated weapons. Completing this stage awards the M240L light machine gun and Enforcer player card title.
Here are the challenges:
- Inflict 7,000 damage with the RPKM or KTS100 MK8.
- Get 15 multi-kills with LMGs.
Dealing damage with RPKM or KTS100 MK8 is as simple as it sounds. Choose one of the LMGs (KTS100 MK8 is available from the first stage), kit it out with attachments, and inflict as much damage as possible.
To get multi-kills, you need to get three or more kills in a quick succession. There’s a nearly three-second window between kills before you need to start over. Once again, the easiest way to complete these is in bot matches.
