How to complete A Wrench in the Works in Arc Raiders

Arc Raiders A Wrench in the Works: A player looking at a wrecked bus on a main road at the western gate.

A Wrench in the Works is one of the handful of new quests in Arc Raiders' Riven Tides update, but it's far removed from the seaside paradise. This quest takes you back to Spaceport, where Celeste is investigating signs of a mutiny.

While it's only a short quest, it's not obvious where you need to head first—the western gate isn't a marked location on your map. Below, I'll show you where you need to go to complete both quest steps.

Search the buses near the western gate

The first location you need to visit is at the western gate, which is actually the main road on the west side of the map, starting between the Departure Building and the Arrival Building and leading towards Water Towers. The bus in question is at the junction at the east end of the road, where it connects to the Departure Building. There's a red and blue shipping container nearby, up against a rock, so it's not hard to find once you know where to look.

Enter the bus and interact with the notes stuck on the wall behind the driver's seat to progress.

Locate the stash of sabotage supplies at the Water Towers

Next, head northwest to the corner of the Spaceport map where you'll find the Water Towers area—it's remote, so I wouldn't be surprised if you've never been here before. Enter the northernmost water tower and climb up scrap metal to search a narrow ledge, where you'll find the box of sabotage supplies behind you. Interact with it to transmit its location back to Celeste in Speranza and complete the quest. And you're only a short distance away from an extraction lift, happy days!
