But there is one simple and speedy way to get rid of the ice. Experts at Driving Test Success have shared a snappy way to clear your windscreen and get on your way, hitting just one button.
Your car is likely to have the important button, and turning it to the max can help melt away the ice 'instantly'.

Driving Test Success explained the tip in a TikTok, reports The Express. “Frozen windscreen? Put the temperature on high.
“Put the front windscreen fan on max. The ice will start to melt from the heat. Wipe away excess water and return the fan to normal."
Racking up thousands of likes, the video comments are full of praise from viewers hailing to simple but effective tip. One user wrote: "Wow magic the ice is gone.”
Not everyone agreed with the tip, though, with one user saying: "Wastes more fuel. Just get [out] and scrape it off you lazy so and so.”
Posting another video, the experts also advised that you should use your car demister before driving away.
They said: “Now don't use your windscreen wipers or washers as that won't help. Turn on your front and rear demister.
“The rear demister also heats up your side mirrors in most new cars. But if the mirrors are not clear, make sure to clear them before you start driving."
