Changing ceilings can drastically alter the look and feel of any room you're working on. It's a useful gameplay feature, so here's how to change the ceiling texture in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Change ceiling in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can change the ceiling in any room inside any of your houses by selecting the Ceiling Texture category in Furniture mode. It can be a bit tricky to find and use this feature, so here's a full breakdown of how to access it.
- Visit any of your houses around the village. You can only access this feature in your home, so start by heading to any of your homes around Dreamlight Valley or DLC worlds like Eternity Isle and Storybook Vale.
- Open Furniture mode. On PC, you can immediately open this category by pressing F. On other platforms, you first need to open your Inventory, then switch to the Furniture page. The button you need to press to open your Inventory is displayed in the top right corner next to the backpack icon.
- Find and select the Ceiling Texture category. It's in the second-to-bottom row, right between the Floors and Windows categories.
- Choose any Ceiling Texture. This system works the same as flooring, so as soon as you select any of the available options, the ceiling immediately changes. You can select a new one at any point to replace it.
Can you change ceiling texture in Daisy's Boutique in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
You cannot change the ceiling texture in Daisy's Boutique. Unfortunately, some of Daisy's challenges might ask you to do so anyway. This is a bug, so if you run into this issue, you'll have to work on fixing it to finish her trial.
How to fix Daisy's Boutique ceiling texture bug in Disney Dreamlight Valley
If you run into a Daisy's Boutique challenge that asks you to change the ceiling texture, you can combat this bug by ending the active trial and starting a new one. It's likely you haven't done so before, so if you're unsure how to tackle this process, here's how to get it done.
- Talk to Daisy. Find her in the Boutique and interact with her to pull up all available dialogue options.
- Select the "Cancel the current challenge" option. It's the third option up from the bottom.
- Choose "Yes. Cancel this challenge." Selecting this option confirms your choice and officially ends the active trial.
Once you've cancelled the bugged challenge, you can chat with Daisy again to start a new one. If she gives you another trial that has ceiling texture requirements, simply repeat this process again to acquire another fresh one. There are no penalties for cancelling challenges, so you can do so as much as you need, whether it's to get rid of this requirement or simply get an easier one to work through.
