How to cancel your Disney+, Amazon Prime and Netflix subscriptions

Since lockdown began, streaming services have become the number one go-to source of comfort and entertainment for many self-isolators.

Throughout March, the documentary series Tiger King offered a welcome distraction for Netflix users, while the launch date of Disney+ could hardly have been better timed either.

But while signing up to these services can be done in just a few simple clicks, cancelling your subscription often isn't quite so easy.

If you're currently locked into a contract you don't know how to get out of, we've compiled a list of simple-to-follow guidelines to give you a helping hand.

Disney+

Go to the Disney Plus website and log in. Once there, click on your profile in the top right hand corner of the screen and click 'Account'.

On the account page you will see "Billing Details". Click on it and you will be sent through to a page where you can then 'Cancel subscription'.

Amazon Prime

Head to "Your Account" page on the Amazon website and scroll down to where it says 'Prime'.

When you get to the Prime page, you will see a bar along the top with three headings: Prime Plan , Renewal Date and Manage .

Under 'Manage' you will see a drop-down that says 'Update, cancel and more'. This drop-down contains a button that says 'End Membership'.

Follow the same instructions if you have started a free 30 day trial and you wish to end it before you are billed.

Netflix

Sign in to Netflix. Once you've clicked into your profile, you will see an arrow in the top right hand corner of the page. Hover over it and click 'Account'.

On the left hand side of the page you will see 'Membership and Billing'. Click the 'Cancel Membership' button beneath it.
