How to buy a Motherwell season ticket for the 2020/21 season if you can afford it

With football clubs facing an uncertain future because of the coronavirus crisis, they need the support of fans more than ever.

Yes, it's hard to picture how the footballing landscape will look next week, never mind next season.

But for those that can afford it, buying a season ticket could make such a difference to clubs that face months without gate receipts.

Motherwell enjoyed a successful season before the game was halted in Scotland on March 13.

They rose to third in the Scottish Premiership and were looking likely to secure Europa League qualification.

The work of chief executive Alan Burrows and chairman Jim McMahon has put Motherwell in as good a position as any club to survive the crisis.

The club became debt free in February for the first time in 40 years and have sold around 1,500 season tickets so far - a vast increase on last season's sales after three weeks.

But more will be required to stem the financial tidal wave the virus will no doubt bring on.

These are tough times for everyone, and McMahon has stressed that only those with the means to safely do so should purchase a season ticket. If you can, here's how to renew or buy.

Supporters can buy online at tickets.motherwellfc.co.uk, or by calling 01698333333 between 10am-3pm, Monday to Friday.

The club are offering early bird pricing until May 31 while prices have been frozen from last year.

With the early bird discount, the cheapest adult, concession and under-16 tickets are £315, £175 and £20 respectively.

Fans can also spread the cost over 12 months using the club's finance partner.
