How to buy a Celtic season ticket for the 2020/21 season if you can afford it

These are difficult times to be a football fan.

The game we all love has been shut down indefinitely and its return date remains very much open-ended.

With SPFL clubs starved of their primary income, the financial outlook for many is uncertain.

Celtic are undoubtedly better insulated than their domestic peers with finances that far outstrip any other Scottish club.

But it doesn't mean they too will go unaffected by the coronavirus crisis.

The current Premiership champions launched their season ticket drive on March 11 - 12 days before the UK was sent into lockdown.

Season tickets have until the extended May 28 deadline to renew their book while those currently without a seat can join the waiting list.

With workers being furloughed, taking enforced pay cuts or, in some cases, being laid off altogether, these are not ideal circumstances to be making such a commitment.

After all, season tickets don't come cheap and we don't yet know when the 2020/21 season will kick-off, or whether fans will be allowed into stadiums.

However, if you are fortunate enough to be in a position where renewing is possible, here's how you can deliver your back to Neil Lennon and his team.

Celtic have set up a season ticket renewal page on their official website, which you can access here. Alternatively, you can renew by post.

Adult prices begin at £510, over 65s from £331 and kids as low as £50.

Tickets can either be paid for in full or via one of the club's finance options - which include four and 10 month payment plans. This facility is only available online and can't be completed by post.

Fans can apply to join the waiting list here.
