How to ask Alexa for Bristol Live's headlines with just an Amazon account

Fancy an easy way to get Bristol Live's top stories without even lifting a finger?

Bristol Live's Flash Briefing is a quick way to find out all of the big Bristol headlines you might have missed out on.

Best of all, it's updated daily and doesn't require you to have a voice-controlled device to get it.

You only need the Amazon Alexa app to hear the headlines.

Enabling the Flash Briefing skill is simple:

1. Download the Amazon Alexa app and sign-in with your Amazon account.

2. Head to settings, which can be found by clicking the lines in the top-left corner of your screen.

3. Once you're in settings, scroll down to Flash Briefing - this can be found under the Alexa Preferences heading.

4. Now click on 'Add Content'.

5. You can search for our Flash Briefing skill by clicking on the magnifying glass in the top-right corner of the screen and search for 'Birmingham Live'.

6. Click on the first result and select 'enable to use'.

If you don't have an Amazon voice-controlled device, then you can listen to the Flash Briefing in the Alexa app by tapping the speech bubble and asking the same question.

It's that simple!
