The Apprentice is back for a new series as wannabe business hotshots fight it out to be 'hired' by Lord Alan Sugar.
If you're watching and think you could do a better job, then you could always apply for the 2024 series, which will be the 18th. The winner gets up to £250,000 in investment and a 50:50 business partnership with Lord Sugar.
You haven't got long if you want to put your name in the hat. Applications are already open for next year's series of The Apprentice and will close on January 29, 2023.

If you are successful, it's a quick turnaround, with face-to-face interviews in February and filming from April.

How to apply to be in the Apprentice's next series
If you are over 18, you are welcome to apply to be on the 2024 series of The Apprentice, which will be its 18th season on the BBC.
All you have to do at first is complete a form online. You can find it on the BBC website.
As well as basic administration details, you will be asked two key questions on the form. These are where you can pique the interests of the casting team.
The questions are:
- "Why should you be Lord Sugar's business partner?"
- "What's the most impressive thing you've ever done in business?"
When is the deadline to apply to be in the Apprentice?
Applications to be in the next series of The Apprentice must be submitted by 11.59pm on Janaury 29, 2023.
When will I hear back if I have been successful?
The application form states that if you have not heard back by the end of February, you can assume your Apprentice application was unsuccessful.
What happens if I am successful?
The next stage after the application forms is in-person meetings which take place in February 2023. These are held in London on February 4 and 5; and in Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester on Saturday February 11 and Sunday February 12. You will need to be available for half a day.
The final round of the selection process is a face-to-face meeting in London between February 24 and February 26. Again, that takes half a day.
How long does it take to film The Apprentice, when would I need to be free?
If you make it through and are chosen to join the 2024 cast, you will need to take work off for 10 weeks. The show is filmed between April and the end of June 2023.
"Finally, if you are selected to participate in The Apprentice, you will be required for a period of up to 10 weeks between 10th April 2023 – 25th June 2023 (inclusive), or such later dates as we may decide and notify to you", the application form states.
