How to apply for ITV's Tipping Point as slots to open soon

Applications for ITV's hit show Tipping Point are set to re-open soon.

The gameshow, hosted by Ben Shephard, airs every weekday at 4pm on ITV. The arcade game-style contest has been on our screens since 2012- with viewers glued to the screens every afternoon since.

The show pits three contestants against each other, where they must answer general knowledge questions to earn counters- which are then dropped into the machine in an attempt to push other counters into the "drop zone". Each counter is worth £50.

The contestant with the highest total earned over the show will advance to the final round, where they must try to get the "jackpot counter", worth £10k, out of the machine. To apply for the show, you must be over the age of 18, and a permanent legal resident of the UK.

Every year, ITV accept applications around early February, for the series to be aired the following year. To apply for Tipping Point all you need to do is fill out a form on the ITV apply website.

If your application is successful, you will have to travel to the studio- Tipping Point is filmed at Bristol’s Bottle Yard Studios. The studio is located near an industrial estate in Hengrove, Bristol, also home to the Crystal Maze.

The show is filmed in three-month blocks from Monday to Wednesday, with up to four shows filmed back-to-back each day. Applications are likely to open in the coming weeks, so keep an eye on the ITV site if you fancy your chances at the machine.
