How to add Homes & Gardens as a ‘preferred source' on Google – so you can stay up to date with all of our latest content

Living room with blue walls, patterned red sofa, armchair, striped ottoman and rattan floor lamp.

In order for you to see more content from the sites that you love, Google has recently rolled out a 'preferred source' function.

Google Search now lets you customize your Top Stories with selected preferred sources that you trust and love, so you can see more content from your favorite publishers in your Search feed.

'When you select your preferred sources, you’ll start to see more of their articles prominently displayed within Top Stories when those sources have published fresh and relevant content for your search. Once you select your sources, they will appear more frequently in Top Stories or in a dedicated "From your sources" section on the search results page. You’ll still see content from other sites, and can manage your selections at any time.'

You can find more information about the new function on the Google Preferred Source page, but we've included step by steps, as well as a link on how to add Homes & Gardens as a Preferred Source, below
