The Truth/Lies 1 contract is one of several priority tasks that you can complete for the MIDA faction in Marathon, and it takes place on the Outpost.
The Truth/Lies 1 contract has three tasks. Thankfully, all three tasks can be completed at the Flight Control POI. This guide will help you finish the tasks with minimal hassle.

Marathon Truth/Lies 1 contract walkthrough
The Truth/Lies 1 contract can be broken down into the following parts.
- Acquire a Transponder from the second-floor Flight Control.
- Hack Transponder at first-floor terminal in Flight Control.
- Upload malware to dropships outside of Flight Control.
How to acquire a Transponder from the second-floor Flight Control
The first task is to head to the second floor of the Flight Control POI. I have marked the location from where you'll find the entrance. Head inside, and take the stairs to the second floor.
Turn left at the top of the stairs and go inside the room. The Transponder will be lying on a table in this room. It will be highlighted by an objective marker.
How to hack Transponder at first-floor terminal in Flight Control
The next step is to hack the Transponder using another terminal. The terminal is on the first floor; take the same stairs and drop down by one level. You'll find the quest marker, which will guide you to the terminal's location.
Interact with the terminal to hack the Transponder and proceed to complete the final task of the contract.
How to upload malware to dropships outside of Flight Control
The last task is to get outside Flight Control and head to the marked spot. You'll find a wall; cross it, and you'll find a couple of UESC dropships on the otherside.
Go below the dropships to upload the malware, and it will complete the final task and the Truth/Lies 1 contract.
