'How?' These Arsenal and Man United fans can't believe what Didier Deschamps has done

The latest France squad has been confirmed today (Thursday) - and there is once again no place for Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.

The 28-year-old has once again missed out on a place in the French national squad, with Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud among the forwards included by Deschamps for the upcoming international fixtures against Moldova and Albania.

Lacazette has recently returned from injury, having missed almost two months with an ankle problem, but he has impressed with his consistent performances for the Gunners throughout 2019 - winning the club's player of the season award last year.

He has two goals in eight games so far this season for the Gunners in all competitions, but has not scored since netting in the 2-2 draw with north London rivals Tottenham back in September.

But his continued omission from the French squad has once again got Arsenal fans talking this afternoon, with Lacazette having not played for France since 2017.

Arsenal fans' new Lacazette song

Lacazette was named on the standby list for France ahead of the World Cup last summer, but did not feature at the finals in Russia.

As reported by Get French Football News , Deschamps explained earlier this season why he called up Giroud over Lacazette: "He [Giroud] is in a difficult situation sadly for him and for us with his club. It is not ideal.

"However with us he has always given a good showing, the statistics will show you that."

But with Giroud once again preferred to Lacazette - and with Manchester United forward Anthony Martial also missing out on a place in the squad - some fans are in disbelief at Deschamps' latest decision.

Here's what some fans have been saying on social media.
