How the war on drugs is worsening gender violence in Mexico

How the war on drugs is worsening gender violence in Mexico

This week, we’ve explored gender violence in Mexico. It’s been on the rise for the last few years. Every day, an average of nine women are murdered in the country. In some places, women don’t go out alone, because they fear they’ll be abducted.

For more on this, RFI's Ollia Horton spoke to Mexico correspondent Alix Hardy.
