How the Tottenham dressing room reacted after convincing 4-0 win vs Wolfsberger in Europa League

Tottenham Hotspur booked their place in the last-16 of the UEFA Europa League on Wednesday evening, defeating Austrian side Wolfsberger AC 4-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Two goals from Carlos Vinicius, a stunning hit from Dele Alli and a well-taken strike from substitute Gareth Bale sealed a comfortable evening's work for Jose Mourinho's side, ensuring they won the tie 8-1 on aggregate over the two legs.

With the tie all but sealed following the first-leg last week, Mourinho was always likely to ring the changes, and so it proved as he made nine in total, with only Eric Dier and Erik Lamela keeping their places in the side from the team that lost 2-1 to West Ham United on Sunday.

Amongst those to come into the side was Dele, who delivered an outstanding display in the middle of the park, scoring a Goal of the Season contender and grabbing two assists.

Whilst the limelight will be on Dele after his showing, Mourinho will be hoping that Spurs can build on the win and take some of the confidence gained from it into Sunday's Premier League meeting with Burnley.

On the performance, Mourinho said: "[It was a] good night, good night. The attitude was very good, which is the most important thing, the team was united, the ones playing and the ones on the bench. the spirit was good. good individual performances, amazing goals, no injuries. the kids coming.

"I'm, of course, happy with all the respect, our potential is different from their potential, so we cannot take from this results nothing from another world.

"But, you need to play well to win against these teams, very well organised, very good coach, coming here, try to press us high, brings a back five but two fast strikers trying to get behind us.

"Very well organised team, even with more power than them you need to play well to beat them."

Although Mourinho will be remaining grounded and now looking forward to seeing who his side will face in the last-16, his players have celebrated a morale-boosting win and progressing to the last-16.

Here, football.london has taken a close look at how some of Spurs' players have reacted to last night's win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The draw for the last-16 of the Europa League will be made on Friday and Spurs could be joined by north London rivals Arsenal, who face Benfica in the second-leg in their last-32 clash in Greece this evening.
