How the Manchester United dressing room responded to managerial change rumours

Andreas Pereira has claimed every single member of the Manchester United squad has remained behind Ole Gunnar Solskjaer throughout rumours that he might be replaced.

United's stance is that Solskjaer has retained the support of the board, even through a sticky spell of results that saw Mauricio Pochettino linked with the Old Trafford job.

And Pereira, one of the players to benefit from increased opportunities under the Norwegian, has revealed the true level of dressing room support for Solskjaer.

He spoke to reporters after United completed their Europa League group stage campaign with a comprehensive

"Everyone is behind Ole," said the Brazilian.

"There is not a single player who wants him out. Everybody loves him at the club. He is very good to everyone.

"He has been fantastic for me personally. Everything I have now, I have to thank him for. He has given me playing time and confidence. I feel better and better for every game I play."

Pereira added that Solskjaer was particularly influential for players such as him that have come through the United youth ranks.

Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay, Jesse Lingard, are among the other academy graduates to have been put to the forefront by Solskjaer since he replaced Jose Mourinho.

"He is very important for us young players from the academy," added Pereira.

"He knows everyone who are coming up, and he knows the club in and out. It is massive for the young players. "
