How the bookies think Bristol City will get on against Leeds United in opening game of the season

The start of the season may be six weeks away but bookies are already offering odds on the opening round of games.

Bristol City found out earlier this week that they will face Leeds United in the opening game of their season, in a game that will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Plenty of transfer rumours have swirled around both clubs since the end of last season, but neither are yet to make any major moves in the window.

For this reason, perhaps it is unsurprising that the bookies are predicting a tight game.

After making the play-offs last season, Oddschecker have Leeds down as slight favourites for the match.

Odds for Leeds to win are as short as 6/4 - with their best odds being rated as 8/5.

The Robins , meanwhile, have odds of 7/4 to win the game.

A draw has odds of 9/4.
