How the 2020 Six Nations table is expected to finish this month as Wales salvage pride and France just denied

England are predicted to win the Six Nations when the tournament reaches its conclusion later this month.

Eddie Jones' side have one final game to complete, against Italy in Rome, where they are heavy favourites with the bookmakers at 1/33.

France's finale against Ireland takes place on Super Saturday - October 31 - in Paris and they are fancied, narrowly, to come out on top in that one at odds of 10/11.

If things play out as the bookies expect, it would leave France and England tied on 17 points, meaning the tournament would go down to points difference, where England currently have the edge.

It is also likely that England will clinch a bonus point victory in Rome and far less likely that Les Blues will achieve the same against Ireland.

Therefore, England are now favourites to win the championship.

Ireland are expected to beat Italy in their fourth game, scheduled for October 24, at odds of 1/44, which would take them to 13 points.

Wales are fancied to beat Scotland, which would see them jump to fourth, with Scotland fifth and Italy last.
