The 2020/21 Championship campaign gets underway this weekend.
Watford take on Middlesbrough tonight in what is the first fixture of the new league season.
Cardiff City's first full term under Neil Harris begins with a home match against Garry Monk's Sheffield Wednesday.
As for Swansea City, they begin the league season against Preston at Deepdale.
Both Welsh clubs in the division reached the play-offs last term and harbour hopes of gaining promotion into the promised land of the Premier League this time around.
And they are being tipped to do reasonably well this season, although it may not be enough going by the predictions of bookmakers.
The Pools have Norwich City as the 2/1 favourites to gain promotion, with Brentford (11/5) and Watford (9/4) closely following behind.
Bournemouth (3/1) and Stoke City (15/4) are also fancied for promotion, with Nottingham Forest being the 4/1 sixth favourites to go up.
And bookies find it hard to choose between the Bluebirds and the Swans who they are offering odds of 9/2 and 5/1 respectively to be playing in the top-flight in the 2021/22 season.
At the other end of the table, newly-promoted Wycombe Wanderers are the 8/15 favourites to go down.
Sheffield Wednesday - who start the new campaign on -12 points - are the 6/4 second favourites to be relegated while Rotherham United are 2/1 third favourites to drop back into League One.
