Luckily consumer website Which? has highlighted several money-saving tricks and hacks, which can help you increase the amount of money you save every month.
According to the consumer champion website, by making few simple changes, and spending time seeking out your best options, you could cut down on needless spending and save up to £1300 a year.
From haggling on household bills and cashing in the loyalty points on club cards to switching energy providers, here's a full list of tricks and tips on how to save as much money as you can.
Haggling

Haggling over everything from mobile phone contracts and broadband to home insurance and car insurance renewals, has helped Which? members save an average of £499 a year.
Doing this may not come naturally to many people, but Which? research suggests that it's easier than you may think and for some purchases, it's actually becoming commonplace to question the price.
The experts also advise that the key to a successful haggle is showing that you’re aware you can get what you want at a cheaper price elsewhere and that you’re happy to go for that alternative.
Cashback credit cards
Research from the consumer website has revealed that the average credit card user could earn £221.50 by using cashback credit cards.
This means that you commit to spending on your credit card each month, but repay their balance in full to avoid interest and charges. This practice helps you earn money as you shop or spend money.
But be sure that you don’t max out the cashback credit card, it’s always better to control your spending instead.
Cashback websites
Many online retailers allow you to pay using a cashback website – and according to Topcashback.co.uk , an average user earns £325 a year using cashback site.
These sites pay you a cash reward every time you buy - on top of what you earn from a cashback credit card.
Loyalty cards

If you’re the type of person who enjoys shopping, it’s always club cards and collecting loyalty points on them. Which? calculates that an average shopper could earn £29.12 a year in vouchers.
Price comparison websites
Comparing prices before any purchase – whether that’s home and utilities, insurance or a new car – will serve you well when it comes to saving money.
