Fans of the Boston Celtics may not even be over the last cycle of trade rumbles tying All-Star forward Jaylen Brown to a potential trade for Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard. But, new chatter debating the wisdom of whether the Celtics should deal Brown or some other combination of assets for Washington Wizards All-NBA guard Bradley Beal has arrived, and in force.
Does it make sense to deal for the potentially disgruntled Wiz star if it costs them another younger, ascendant talent and draft assets to do it? Is there the possibility of getting Beal on the Celtics in free agency, or with some other combination of draft picks and young talent?
We decided to take the temperature of the fanbase regarding finding a way to get Beal to Boston, given our last such venture returned some strong feelings about keeping Brown a Celtic despite the undeniable talent of Damian Lillard.
Do Boston fans still feel the same when it is a slightly younger friend of Jayson Tatum as an alternative target?
