How Scots can make a Tango Ice Blast from home on lockdown

A trip to the cinema just isn't the same without popcorn and a Tango Ice Blast.

And Scots can now get their fizzy iced drink fix at home using just four ingredients.

A keen at-home cook has revealed a simple recipe for anyone craving an Ice Blast during lockdown, the Daily Star reports.

Tik Tok user Caught Snackin' shared the simple step in a video - so how do you make them?

Ingredients

  • Flavoured ice lollies
  • Ice cubes
  • Colourful food dye
  • Tango drink

Method

First you need to cut up any ice lollies you have in the freezer.

The second step involves putting these into a blender with ice cubes, food dye and a Tango drink of your choice.

Stick the blender on until it turns to a slush.

"Don't be afraid to mix it up," he said.

"Any ice lolly will work, I'm telling you.

"To be honest, even any fizzy drink."

All that is then needed is to pour out the sugary treat into your favourite glass and sit back to watch a film on the sofa.

Thousands of people have seen the footage since the man shared it to his 86,000 Tik Tok followers.

One user wrote: "I need to try this."

Another added: “I tried it with a Coca Cola ice lolly and lemonade.”

A third said: “Oh my goodness.

"That looks amazing.”
