It was only at the start of this week when non-essential shops re-opened their doors in Liverpool and across Merseyside in what felt like another major step back towards normality.
As pictures and video captured by ECHO staff showed, plenty of people headed out on Monday to search for bargains despite coronavirus, with queues for some stores stretching around the block.
Inside those shops they were met with a range of social distancing and other safety measures including one-way routes, plastic screens and hand sanitisers - as well as rules over the number of people allowed into each shop.
While many people stuck to these rules, we have heard several stories of others who did not - getting too close to other shoppers, rushing past them to buy what they had their eye, or even squaring up to them are just some of the examples.
For some this has been an inconvenience, for others they have felt it was a real threat to their health given the continued presence of coronavirus.
So we want to get a true picture of what life has been like in Liverpool and Merseyside's shops since the past week in our survey below.
