Liverpool's Sadio Mane loves the Champions League. And he loves the knockout stages in particular.
Mane took his tally for the season to 22 in all competitions with the opener in the Reds' 4-1 quarter-final second leg triumph in Porto on Wednesday night.
It extended his record of being Liverpool 's all-time leading goalscorer in European away matches.
And it also meant Mane now has 14 goals for the Reds in the Champions League – 10 of which have come in the knockout stages in less than two seasons.

How remarkable that achievement is can be demonstrated by Mane's goals-per-minute record in the latter stages of the competition.
Of all players to have reached double figures in the knockout stages, none have scored with greater regularity than the Senegalese.
Yes, that's right. Mane's record is even better than Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo of Juventus.
Both may have significantly more goals – over an admittedly much longer period of time – but Mane is the most prolific.

His 10 goals come at a rate of one every 95 minutes. For Ronaldo, his incredible tally of 65 has come at a rate one every 107 minutes. And for Messi, his total of 44 means goals arrive one every 129 minutes.
And to further underline Mane's importance to Liverpool, he has now netted eight of the last 10 opening goals scored by Jurgen Klopp's side.
Barcelona, you have been warned.
