How Sabri Lamouchi's win ratio at Nottingham Forest compares to previous Reds bosses

Nottingham Forest have made the decision to stick with Sabri Lamouchi, rather than roll the dice with another managerial change.

And while there was bitter disappointment at the way the Reds’ season collapsed, there is evidence of the impact the Frenchman has made at the City Ground.

His future came under scrutiny after Forest fell apart with a play-off place at stake on the final day of the campaign.

Nevertheless, coming seventh was still the club’s best league finish for almost a decade.

The Reds struggled in the final run-in, but over the course of 2019-20 as a whole, they did pick up some fine results.

And it means Lamouchi currently has a win percentage of 40 percent from his time at the helm - one which compares favourably with some of his predecessors.

The ex-Rennes and Ivory Coast chief became the first Forest boss to see out a full season since Billy Davies’ first spell.

In the 50 games he oversaw, his team notched up 20 wins and 16 draws, with 14 losses.

Compared to his most recent predecessors, Lamouchi’s win ratio is almost equal to Mark Warburton’s, better than that of Aitor Karanka, Philippe Montanier and Dougie Freedman, and only slightly below Martin O’Neill, whose spell was considerably shorter.

Here’s how Lamouchi’s win ratio compares to previous Reds managers.
