Having avoided social media for the entirety of its existance, people were stunned when Manchester United and Ireland legend Roy Keane signed up for Instagram a few months ago.
Since then, the Corkman has embraced the app, giving us details about his private life that we had never seen before.
The 49-year-old has always been a family man - with his wife, children and grandchildren all featuring on his feed since he joined Instagram.
When did Roy meet his wife?
Roy met his wife Theresa in 1992.
At the time Theresa was in a relationship and the dental assistant was reportedly not interested in Roy when they first met in 1992.
Shortly after Theresa’s relationship ended Roy jumped in and took her on a date. Roy has described Theresa as his rock.
How did Roy Keane meet his wife?
The two first met on a night out and it seems like it was love at first sight for Roy. When he tried to make a move on Theresa she blanked him, Roy assumed that it was due to his reputation as a footballer but he admits to falling in love with Theresa as soon as they met.
The pair married in 1997 and have five children together, Shannon, Caragh, Aidan, Leah and Alanna.
What does Roy Keane do that annoys his wife?
As revealed in the latest episode of 'Micah and Roy's Road to Wembley' on YouTube, one of Roy's favourite films is Rambo.
But unfortunately, we don't think the same can be said of Therese.
The Cork native told co-host Micah Richards that "I love it. My wife goes mad at me. I love when he rebels"
Later in the same episode, Keane revealed a rather unique lineup of dream dinner guests.
"I would love to meet Bob Dylan. He's probably quiet and a bit miserable like myself.
"Do you know who I loved growing up when you were on about movies, who always made me laugh. Would you know Norman Wisdom?
"Obviously a comedian, great. Had some brilliant movies.
"I think we need some female company. Just to break it up, obviously just to chat. I'll say, I'll say a true champion. Katie Taylor from Ireland.
"Brilliant, I've met her once, an amazing sports person."
