How robocalls may be the thing to unite Congress

Those pesky robocalls may be the one thing this deeply divided Congress can agree on. Earlier this week, the House passed a measure led by New Jersey Democrat Frank Pallone Jr. and South Dakota Republican John Thune that aims to combat the billions of automated phone calls that flood this country's phone lines each month. The bill appears headed for passage in the Senate. CQ Roll Call reporter Katherine Tully-McManus joins the podcast this week, along with lawyer Kevin Rupy, who represents phone companies.
