How readers can correct newspaper errors

Washington Post readers who spot mistakes in their paper can now do more than shake their heads, send a letter to the editor, or write an email.

They can write their own corrections by submitting them to the paper on a form linked to on article pages.

Ten days ago the Post introduced corrections forms next to bylined articles in order to encourage reader feedback by underlining its commitment to accuracy and accountability.

Once registered users have submitted the form, editors will review the suggestion, and then make corrections in print and online where stories turn out to be wrong.
