Rangers' Euro opponents, Jagiellonia Bialystok, got off to a winning start in the Polish League over the weekend.
The Ibrox side travel to Poland for the Europa League tie, with the first leg a week on Thursday.
And Jagiellonia warmed up for the clash with a 1-0 home win against Korona Kielce in the opening game of their new season.
And boss Adrian Siemieniec is pleased with the progress of his side.
He said: "It's very important to start the season well and we won an incredibly big match for us today. This will definitely help us prepare for the challenges ahead in Europe.
