How Paratici can still seal transfers for Tottenham after deadline day amid Moura exit talks

The transfer window deadline is quickly looming, but there is still time for Tottenham to get some deals over the line. Spurs have signed seven players so far this summer, with Antonio Conte strengthening his defence, midfield and attack.

Fabio Paratici has also been looking at players for the future, with Destiny Udogie going back on loan with Udinese, for the rest of the season. The Lilywhites have also secured a number of moves for players who either need more game time or are not in the Italian's plans for the season.

Harry Winks and Sergio Reguilon were the latest two to secure a temporary move this summer. Winks will now play in Serie A with Sampdoria, whilst the Spaniard returns to his home nation to join Atletico Madrid.

Tottenham got most of their business done early, so it may not be as much of a busy deadline day as fans are used to. However even if no signings are made on the final day of the window, there is still a chance to make some after it slams shut.

All five major European Leagues (in Spain, Italy, Germany, France and England) will close their window on September 1. In the Netherlands, the transfer window has already shut, as an error from their Football Association (KNVB) means the deadline was August 31.

In England, the deadline is 11pm, whilst Spain requires transfers to be completed by 10:59pm. Germany requires all deals to be done by 5pm, but there are some countries that will have their windows open for a bit longer.

Belgium's will be next to close, on September 6 and two days later (September 8) Turkey and Russia's will slam shut. A week later and on September 15 is when Greece's transfer window will shut and the last UEFA-affiliated country to close its summer window is Israel, with theirs not shutting until September 28.

There haven't been recent heavy links with players from any of these leagues that Tottenham could sign, although this could change. Spurs have been linked with the likes of Dan James and James Maddison, with Lucas Moura and Pape Matar Sarr still waiting on decisions over their potential exits and only time will tell what business gets done for the Lilywhites, in the time they have left.
