How one Super Bowl bettor turned $2 into more than $1,100

With the Super Bowl comes countless prop bets. They range from the ridiculous – what color Gatorade will be dumped on the winning coach? – to the completely reasonable, like which player will score the first touchdown.

Billions of dollars were bet on the big game, but it only took this one gambler $2 to win more than $1,100. How, you ask? Those crazy prop bets, that’s how.

Bovada shared a tweet laying out exactly how this bettor won more than 500 times his original wager. It was a parlay that called for Tom Brady to throw an interception on his first pass and for there to be zero touchdowns in the first half.

Check and check.

That combination netted a man by the name of Nate $1,131.58 on Super Bowl Sunday.

It’s certainly impressive, but is it better than the bettor who turned $250 into $100,000 by picking the Rams to score exactly three points? Probably not. Both beat “Bettor X,” though, who wagered – and lost – $3.8 million on Rams to win the game.
