There's one actress that gets fans all over the world talking every year on Halloween and that is Jamie Lee Curtis.

Dubbed the 'ultimate scream queen', American star Jamie Lee has a illustrious career under her belt but at this time of years it's all about one film - Halloween.

And that's because for fans of all things horror, Jamie Lee's finest moment will always be a certain film that was released in 1978.

Focused on the killings of the still horrifying exploits of Michael Myers, Halloween is quite rightly regarded as one of the scariest movies of all time and Jamie, of course, takes a starring role.

Interest in the famous franchise has spiked again this year thanks to the release of new sequel Halloween Kills, which sees Jamie reunited with former child co-star turned Real Housewife of Beverley Hills, Kyle Richards.

Jamie Lee has actually appeared on the hit US show as Kyle and her husband became patrons of children's hospital charity.

How old is Jamie Lee Curtis?

Born in Santa Monica, California in November 1958, Jamie Lee is now 62-years-old.

Her other acting credits include acclaimed movie A Fish Called Wanda, much loved 90s film My Girl, where she played Vada's step-mum and cult TV show Scream Queens.

Partial to a horror film, Jamie Lee has also starred in scare flicks The Fog and Prom Night.
