Former Celtic central defender Christopher Jullien is reportedly set to represent the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe this summer.
Despite having no familial ties to the nation, Jullien, under the third paragraph of Article Six of FIFA rules and regulations regarding international football, which states that Member Associations (MAs) of others confederations, which are not MAs of FIFA, can share a nationality, he can represent Guadeloupe, despite being French.

Indeed, the two countries are listed as an example under section 42.2 because Guadeloupe is an MA of CONCACAF, not FIFA.
Jullien is therefore 'set' to play for Guadeloupe at this summer's Gold Cup, claims SunSport.
They kick off their quest for glory in the group stage, where they will face Panama, Jamaica, and Guatemala.
Finish in the top two of their group, and they will progress to the quarter-finals.
Speaking to The Celtic Way last month, Jullien revealed his everlasting love for Celtic: “I still watch some games when I can," he said.
"I saw the way they did the Champions League this year. That was close (against Bayern Munich), yeah, they were really good. Oh my God, I was so annoyed! This game made me crazy, because I really thought they could have done it at the Allianz Arena.
"Of course, I can see that they're still up in the table, so in the league, they are good right now – I am really happy about this."
