It's widely known that the Championship is one of the most competitive divisions within England. As the cliche says, anyone can beat anyone on their day and it makes it a fiercely difficult league to get promoted from.
Yet despite all this there is quite often huge disparities between the finances available to clubs. The introduction of parachute payments - the fees received by clubs in the aftermath of their relegation from the Premier League - has increased the quality within the league, but also increased the gulf between some teams.
The German statistical website Transfermarkt measures club values for teams in the Championship using a range of factors, including the team's current combined collective worth, form, age, talent and overall resale value.
Steve Cooper's side are pushing for promotion from the Championship into the top tier and it's understandable given their reported club value.
According to Transfermarkt the Reds are the fifth most-valuable club sitting at £52.38m; only Bournemouth, Fulham, Sheffield United and West Brom are above them in the financial table.
It is important to note that these figures take into account players on loan at the club. That means that the likes of James Garner, Max Lowe, Philip Zinckernagel, Keinan Davis and Djed Spence are included in Forest's total.
