How much is Nottingham Forest's squad worth?

Nottingham Forest have the seventh most valuable squad in the Championship, with their players’ total worth coming in at £51.08m.

That’s according to Transfermarkt, with three clubs coming down from the Premier League have the highest value squads, with Bournemouth topping the table at £123.9m, more than double the apparent worth of Chris Hughton’s side.

Norwich (£102.7m) and Watford (£99.36m) come second and third, and it’s Brenford that have the greatest squad worth of those that played in the Championship in the season just gone. Thomas Frank’s team comes in at £60.8m.

The next two sides - Cardiff (58.77) and Bristol City (£53.9m) – are trailed by Forest.

Joe Lolley is supposedly the side’s prized asset at £5.9m. Loic Mbe Soh (£4.05m) and Joe Worall (£3.6m) come in next, although they will be sold for much greater fees if they depart the City Ground this January.

Forest’s East Midlands rivals Derby County are 12th on the list at £43.6m, while the three clubs to have been promoted from League One make up the bottom three, with Rotherham, Coventry and Wycombe’s squads valued £12m or less.
