How Nottingham Forest's players rated in 1-1 draw with Preston

Nottingham Forest go into the international break after drawing 1-1 with Preston at the City Ground.

Here's how we rated the Reds players on a day when they had to battle for their point.

Brice Samba: Made two good saves in the first half and could do nothing about the goal. Looks assured as the number one. 7/10

Carl Jenkinson: Will play a lot better this season. Got forwards more in the second half but was penned back in the first. 6/10

Michael Dawson: Not as effective as he has been this season. Not a bad performance at all though. 7/10

Joe Worrall: Similar to Dawson. Steady game and made one really good first half block. 7/10

(Joseph Raynor/ Nottingham Post)

Jack Robinson: Better second half than first, when he was given all sorts of problems, especially in the first 20 minutes. 6/10

Ben Watson: Forest's best outfield player in the first half. Had another good game, nipping into win the ball regularly. 7/10

Tiago Silva: Poor first half. Improved in the second. Did some things well, but then would make a sloppy error. Put himself about even when not at his best. 6/10

Alfa Semedo: Nowhere near as good as he has been, this time playing as a number 10. Replaced at the break. 5/10

Joe Lolley: Aside from one shot, his radar was all over the place. Still looked a threat when in space, but Preston managed him well. 6/10

Sammy Ameobi: Limited impact as an attacking force and was no surprise when he was replaced by Adomah, who might have come on a bit earlier with the benefit of hindsight. 5/10

Lewis Grabban: Came deeper and went out wide to get the ball but only had one shot at goal and that went over. Forest could not carve out the chance he craved. 6/10

Forest's Albert Adomah celebrates scoring to level the score at 1-1 (Joseph Raynor/ Nottingham Post)

Subs:

Samba Sow (for Semedo 46): Changed the game with his energy and strength on the ball. Fans are really taking to him. 8/10

Joao Carvalho (for Watson 67): Good to see him back on the pitch in the league. Set up the goal with that one moment of true quality he was able to produce. 6/10

Adomah (for Ameobi 77): Scored two minutes after coming and produced one great piece of skill before putting in a dangerous cross. Made the most of a limited chance. 8/10
