This is the moment an impatient truck driver smashed through the barriers of a level crossing in south west London.
CCTV captured the truck overshooting the marker on West Barnes lane, Raynes Park,meaning one of the barriers dropped down onto the rear of the vehicle.
The driver suddenly accelerates, dragging the barrier along with the truck and leaving shocked motorists in their wake.
Network Rail Wessex shared the footage on social media, writing: “This is how not to use a level crossing.”
“They drove off and damaged both sets of barriers and the CCTV camera,” the rail network said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact British Transport Police.
