How Nicole Brown Simpson tried to warn pals she was in grave danger days before murder

Nicole Brown Simpson tried to warn her friends she was in danger just days before her brutal murder.

Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman were brutally killed on the doorstep of her home in June 1994.

Her ex-husband OJ Simpson was arrested and famously acquitted on trial - the former professional footballer has protested his innocence since the tragic death of his wife.

OJ was found legally responsible for the murders in a civil trial and ordered to pay millions to their families.

Twenty-six years after her notorious murder, Caitlyn Jenner has revealed the chilling cry for help Nicole shared just days before her death.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 70, was incredibly close to Nicole in the eighties and nineties before her transition from Bruce.

Caitlyn's ex-wife, Kris Jenner, was best friends with Nicole, along with Faye Resnick who also hung around in their social circle.

In her book, The Secrets Of My Life, Caitlyn revealed the haunting words Nicole said to her friend Faye Resnick.

Caitlyn detailed a sombre night she was at home with her wife Kris when Nicole called.

OJ's wife explained she was incredibly concerned about Faye's drug use and she was adamant they had to stage an intervention that night to get her friend into rehab.

A few hours later, they met all met at Faye's house and tried to convince her to go to rehab.

It was Nicole who eventually convinced her dear friend that she needed to seek help in order to save her life.

Caitlyn recalled Nicole telling Faye that she would die if she didn't go to rehab.

The I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star wrote: "Over and over, Nicole kept saying the same thing to Faye: 'If you don't stop, you're going to die. And you don't want your daughter to grow up without a mother.'

"I was listening to the urgency and sincerity and love in Nicole's voice. She, more than anyone else in my mind, was the one who got her to rehab.

"Three or maybe four days afterward, Nicole was dead."

In a tragic turn of events, it would be Nicole's children who would grow up without a mother, not Faye's.

Caitlyn shared: "Still to this day, I wish we had known that the person we needed to save in that room at that very moment was Nicole. As serious as Faye's situation was, Nicole's was even more life-threatening: It was her children who would grow up without a mother."
