How next season's Championship is predicted to look - where Bristol City, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough come according to the bookies

Sunday brought the curtain down on the regular Championship league season.

Bristol City narrowly missed out on the play-offs to Derby County, meaning their chances of promotion to the Premier League are now over for another year.

Despite the play-offs still to come, and the regular season having finished just two days ago, Wales Online report that bookies are already starting to offer odds on how they think the next campaign will go.

A strong campaign for the Robins this season has not left the bookies convinced that they have what it takes to challenge next year, unfortunately.

The Robins are joint-ninth favourites to go up - although they will probably drop further when the teams who do not go up via the play-offs are added to the list.

Bristol City linked with move for Coventry City star available on a free along with Derby County, Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday
