How Neil Warnock is planning to stop Eden Hazard when Chelsea face Cardiff City

Neil Warnock knows what a tough task his Cardiff City side face on Sunday when Chelsea come to visit - with his main concern being how to stop Eden Hazard.

The Belgian has been the side's most lethal player this campaign, scoring 16 goals in all competitions to lead the goalscoring charts at Stamford Bridge ahead of the likes of Olivier Giroud and Gonzalo Higuain.

His goals and performances have been instrumental in keeping Maurizio Sarri in a job and Chelsea with a chance of finishing the campaign in the top four spots, but every week teams are trying to find out ways to stop him.

The brilliant response Eden Hazard gave as he is handed difficult Arsenal or Tottenham dilemma

Sunday will be no different - Cardiff will look to target Hazard whenever he is in possession of the ball but the Belgian is more than capable of being able to get himself out of those types of situations.

The Cardiff boss has revealed he plans to have a go at stopping Hazard at the Cardiff City stadium but also admits that there is no one in England that can stop the Belgian when he is at the top of his game.

Speaking at his pre-match presser, Warnock said: "Hopefully he’d be on the bench.

"I’d give Callum (Hudson-Odoi) a game to be honest the way he’s gone with England.

"I don’t think anyone in the country can stop Hazard when he’s on his game.

"At our stage, why don’t we have a go? It’s alright saying that but you’re still not going to have much of the ball.”

Why Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri should be 'embarrassed' by what Gareth Southgate has done
