How much PSG will accept for Neymar as they 'open door' for transfer away

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly changed their stance on Neymar's future and are willing to do business with Barcelona this summer.

Neymar wants to part ways with PSG ahead of next season and it is understood that his former Spanish club are leading the race to secure his services.

PSG are prepared to sell striker Neymar, French media reports claimed, as chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi warned that irresponsible behaviour from players won't be tolerated anymore.

Brazil international Neymar joined the Ligue 1 side from Barcelona for a world record £200million in August 2017.

He missed large parts of the 2018-19 campaign through injury and suspension and made just 17 league appearances, scoring 15 goals.

His two years in Paris has also been overshadowed by his antics off the pitch and PSG will consider selling the 27-year-old in the forthcoming transfer window if they receive a substantial offer.

And reports in France on Saturday have suggested that PSG have accepted that Neymar's future lies away from Paris.

Le Parisien have claimed that 'the door for departure is open' and they are even willing to drop their initial valuation of £200m, the amount they paid Barca to sign him two years ago.

It has now been reported that PSG’s owners would settle for a figure between €130m (£116m) and €150m (£135m) plus two Barcelona players.

Spanish daily AS have claimed that among the Barca players believed to be available as part of the sweetener are Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele, Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti.

Neymar earned hero status in Barcelona during four seasons with the European heavyweights.

The former Brazil captain won two La Liga titles and a Champions League triumphs during his spell with Barca, and would no doubt bolster their attacking ranks ahead of the new campaign.
